Description

Make a free panty liner without snaps for use with a single safety pin. Pin from the underside of the underwear, through a couple of layers of liner. Use the full length of the pin, not just a small portion. This will secure it very well, and it’s not more effort than snaps- and it’s a lot easier to make!

Why a safety pin instead of snaps? I found that liners with snaps still shift around, so I began to safety pin them in place. I decided to make things simple by skipping the snaps and just using a safety pin.

I like to make thing and share the plans. These plans can use a sewing machine or be hand stitched pretty quickly. Includes a (very simple) printable pattern and a page of photo illustrated instructions showing you how to make the panty liner. This panty line is meant to be used with a safety pin, so we can avoid all that snap and velcro nonsense. It’s quick and easy and pretty to make. I recommend cotton flannel, but you can use many materials, like old t shirts, terry cloth, sheets, and more. Just make sure it’s mostly cotton.

The panty liner plans can also be uses to make regular pads and night pads. Use the same instruction, just cut your cloths to 4 x 10 inch rectangles for regular pads and 4.5″ x 11″ for overnight pads and add more layers.
