Description
The Dog Doll Sewing Pattern is an instant download. The pattern consists of only 4 parts that all fit on 1 printed page! This makes an 11 inch tall dog plush. This is an excellent pattern for a DIY baby shower gift plush.
Your PDf download contains a material list, 3 pages of sewing instructions and 20 photo illustrations. There is also a page with 9 photos that show how to sew the face features.
Materials needed: I created this pattern with the idea of making natural fabric dolls made from linen or cotton more plentiful. This pattern is for non-stretchy fabrics like cotton canvas or linen. Stretchy fabric probably would work, but I’ve never tried it. Please share with me if you do!
The body pattern uses 4 identical pieces so it is pretty simple to make. There are only tail and arms to cut out as the legs are a part of the main body. This makes the doll more substantial. The pattern creates a relatively flat face, making it a great baby gift. A flatter face is easier for baby to understand because both eyes areĀ more easily seen.
More experienced sewers can use this pattern as a canvas for almost any type of doll, just switch up the ears and the tail and the way you sew the features.
I drew the pattern by hand and used the computer to make the lines more clear.
If you’d like to make these dolls to sell, please purchase a commercial license in this shop.
Please don’t share the downloaded pattern, but please do share this page link. This supports my ability to keep creating patterns for you.
